Hunnid Community Guidelines
Effective date: [PLACEHOLDER]
These Community Guidelines are part of the Hunnid Terms of Service and DJ Agreement. Capitalized terms (Fan, DJ, Gift, Booth Screen, Live Set, User Content, Venue) have the meanings given in Section 2 of the Terms of Service. Violations can be reported to support@hunnid.app.
1. Why These Guidelines Exist
In short: your message can appear on a big screen in a crowded room, in real time. These rules keep that fun and safe for everyone.
Hunnid displays Fan display names and messages publicly on the Booth Screen at Venues, on DJ profiles, and in leaderboards. Because that content is public, instant, and attached to a real person's night out, we hold it to a higher standard than a private chat. These Guidelines apply to everything you submit: display names, Gift messages, song requests, shoutouts, profile photos, bios, links, and support communications.
2. The Short Version
In short: hype the DJ, hype the room, keep it clean, and leave other people out of it.
- Celebrate the DJ and the crowd. Compliments, hype, inside jokes with the room, and song love are what Gifts are for.
- Do not target anyone. No insults, threats, slurs, or "call-outs" of people in the room or elsewhere.
- Keep it clean. No sexual content, explicit language aimed at people, or graphic descriptions.
- Keep it real. No impersonation, spam, scams, or attempts to game rankings.
- Keep private things private. Never post anyone's phone number, address, workplace, legal name they do not use publicly, or other personal details.
3. What Is Not Allowed
In short: hate, harassment, sexual content, doxxing, threats, spam, illegal content, and manipulation are all prohibited.
You may not submit User Content that:
3.1 Hate. Attacks, demeans, or dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious disease, immigration status, or age, or that uses slurs or hateful symbols, including in coded or "joking" form.
3.2 Harassment and bullying. Insults, mocks, or targets a specific person, including the DJ, Venue staff, other Fans, or people not present; encourages others to harass someone; or unwantedly comments on someone's body or appearance.
3.3 Threats and violence. Threatens or wishes violence, harm, or death on anyone; glorifies violence or violent extremist groups; or incites dangerous behavior in the Venue (for example rushing the booth or stage).
3.4 Sexual content. Contains sexual content, sexual solicitation, explicit sexual language, or nudity, or sexualizes anyone, including the DJ. Nonconsensual intimate imagery and any sexual content involving minors are strictly prohibited and are reported to authorities (see Section 6.3).
3.5 Doxxing and private information. Reveals or hints at anyone's private information, including phone numbers, home or work addresses, license plates, government identification, financial information, private social handles, or the legal name of a person who performs under a different name.
3.6 Spam and commercial abuse. Repeats the same message, promotes unrelated products, services, links, other payment methods, or other platforms, solicits money or contact off-Platform, or advertises anything.
3.7 Impersonation and false claims. Uses a display name or content that impersonates the DJ, Hunnid, Venue staff, a public figure, or another person; falsely claims affiliation; or misrepresents where a Live Set is happening.
3.8 Illegal or dangerous activity. Promotes, offers, or requests illegal drugs, weapons, or other illegal goods or services; promotes self-harm or eating disorders; or encourages dangerous behavior.
3.9 Intellectual property violations. Uses photos, logos, or text you do not have the right to use.
3.10 Rank and Gift manipulation. Attempts to manipulate the Hype Score, rankings, or leaderboards, including coordinated or self-directed gifting, or content that encourages others to do so. Section 12 of the Terms of Service and Section 13 of the DJ Agreement describe the payment consequences.
3.11 Circumvention. Uses misspellings, symbols, spacing, other languages, or images to evade filters or moderation.
4. Song Requests and Shoutouts
In short: requests and shoutouts are courtesy features. Keep them short, kind, and appropriate for a public screen.
4.1 Song requests and shoutouts are optional add-ons to a Gift. The DJ decides whether to honor them. Not getting your request played is not a violation by the DJ and is not grounds for a refund (Section 5.4 of the Terms of Service).
4.2 Shoutouts must follow Section 3. A shoutout that names another person should be something that person would be happy to see on a big screen. Birthday wishes: yes. Break-up announcements, medical news, or anything embarrassing: no.
4.3 Requests may be moderated like any other message, and DJs may turn off requests entirely.
5. How Moderation Works
In short: automatic filters run first, the DJ has controls at the booth, and our team can step in. Booth Screen display may be delayed a few seconds for moderation.
5.1 Automatic filtering. Every display name and message is screened automatically before it is shown. Content that matches our filters is blocked or held for review. Filters are imperfect: they sometimes block harmless content and sometimes miss harmful content. Blocked or held messages do not affect the Gift itself, which is still paid to the DJ.
5.2 Display delay. Booth Screen display may be delayed briefly (typically a few seconds) to allow filtering and DJ review.
5.3 DJ controls. DJs can hide or remove any message from their Booth Screen and profile, block a Fan's messages for the Live Set, turn off messages or requests, and turn off the Booth Screen. DJs are asked to remove abusive content promptly when they see it (Section 12.4 of the DJ Agreement).
5.4 Hunnid moderation. Our team may review content in real time or afterward, and may remove content, hide display names, restrict accounts, and take the other actions described in Section 7.
5.5 What we do not do. We do not read private communications, because the Platform has none at launch. We do not monitor Venues. We do not guarantee that any content will be displayed, or that all violating content will be caught.
6. Reporting
In short: report violations to support@hunnid.app. For intimate images posted without consent, use the dedicated process and we act within 48 hours.
6.1 How to report. Report a display name, message, profile, or DJ by using the report option where available on the Platform or by emailing support@hunnid.app with the DJ name, approximate time, Venue, and a description or screenshot. Anyone can report, whether or not they have an account.
6.2 What happens. We review reports, take action under Section 7 when warranted, and keep records as described in our Privacy Policy. We may not be able to share the outcome with you.
6.3 Nonconsensual intimate imagery (Take It Down Act process). If an intimate image or video of you, or a digital forgery depicting you, has been posted on the Platform without your consent (for example as a profile photo), submit a removal request to [PLACEHOLDER: takedown@hunnid.app or web form URL] with: (a) your physical or electronic signature (or that of an authorized representative); (b) enough information for us to locate the content (for example the profile URL or the DJ name and Live Set time); (c) a statement of your good-faith belief that the depiction was published without your consent; and (d) your contact information. We will remove the content and make reasonable efforts to remove known identical copies within 48 hours after receiving a valid request, and we will keep the request confidential to the extent the law allows. Minors' intimate imagery is removed and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children without any request. This process is available to anyone, with or without an account.
6.4 Copyright. Copyright complaints are handled under Section 14 of the Terms of Service (DMCA).
6.5 Emergencies. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services and Venue security first.
7. Consequences
In short: consequences scale with severity, from a hidden message to a permanent ban and a report to law enforcement.
7.1 Depending on the severity and history, we may:
- block, hide, or remove a display name or message;
- require you to change your display name;
- restrict messages or requests for a Live Set or period of time;
- decline, cancel, or refund Gifts associated with abusive content or manipulation;
- suspend or terminate Fan or DJ accounts, and block payment methods, devices, or identities associated with them;
- remove a DJ from rankings or adjust a Hype Score;
- forfeit fraudulent proceeds as described in Section 12.2 of the Terms of Service and Section 13.2 of the DJ Agreement; and
- report conduct to Venues, Stripe, card networks, or law enforcement.
7.2 Zero tolerance. Sexual content involving minors, credible threats of violence, and nonconsensual intimate imagery result in immediate permanent removal and, where appropriate, reports to authorities.
7.3 Appeals. If you believe we made a mistake, reply to our notice or email support@hunnid.app within 30 days with an explanation. A person will review your appeal and respond. Decisions about nonconsensual intimate imagery and child safety are not subject to appeal.
7.4 Gifts are not refunded for moderation. Because a Gift is a voluntary tip to the DJ, a message that is blocked, hidden, or removed for violating these Guidelines does not entitle you to a refund.
8. DJs Have Extra Responsibilities
In short: you run the room. Keep your Booth Screen and profile within these rules and Venue rules.
DJs must keep their profiles truthful and free of prohibited content, use Booth Screen controls to remove violating messages promptly, comply with Venue rules on displays, never pressure Fans to send Gifts or shame non-givers, and never engage in self-gifting or rank manipulation. Repeated failures to moderate the Booth Screen may result in restriction of Booth Screen features or removal from the Platform.
9. Changes
In short: these Guidelines will evolve, and the current version applies.
We may update these Guidelines as the Platform evolves. Material changes are announced as described in Section 26 of the Terms of Service. The current version always applies.
